I LOVE This Job

And why is that, you may ask?

I get to involve myself with four things I find very fascinating and get paid for it!

  • People
  • Internet
  • Technology
  • Marketing

Here’s the thing about me (John – handsome guy in middle) – I get to keep pushing the envelope of what we can do for our clients with Internet marketing. I get to spend all day doing it, if I want to – and often, I do.

I am jazzed today because – I just learned of 3 new bits of technology that we are going to be able to use to the advantage of our clients.

It’s an amazing and curious thing to constantly challenge myself to see how much more exposure, presence and power I can bring to our clients’ unique situations to get their home sold or find them the home that truly satisfies their hearts.

Sorry, can’t stay and chat, I have to go push the envelope some more!

PG&E Relocation Neighborhoods

pge san ramon crow canyonI was talking with Paul Mees the other day about some of the local neighborhoods that might appeal to the PG&E employees relocating to San Ramon or Danville.

Paul had mentioned in his shark attack post about the construction activity at the corner of Crow Canyon and Alcosta where PG&E will be leasing.

It’s only one block up to El Capitan and the neighborhoods surrounding the Crow Canyon Country Club. These neighborhoods like: Crow Canyon Estates, Greenbrook and Shadow Hills are excellent locations for families with school age children.

A couple of miles south on Alcosta there are a couple of neighborhoods that we think will see significant appreciation with the completion of the San Ramon City Center project (City Center PDF).

For singles or couples there are condo developments like Siena Hills and Reflections in San Ramon, that could also experience appreciation as a result of the City Center.

PG&E couldn’t have picked a more conventient location for it’s employees. Those who decide to relocate will have a wide variety of neighborhoods to choose from and many of them will be a short commute with no freeway time.

Danville San Ramon Real Estate Blogger

BloggerWe have been writing about local real estate along the 680 corridor for a couple of years now. We concentrate on the communities of Danville, San Ramon, Alamo, Dublin, Pleasanton and Walnut Creek.

I, John, do most of the writing, but the other team members are contributing more and more. You may see me out and about at the local coffee shops and book stores. I’m easy to recognize because I carry my “billboard” with me.

I created this custom skin for my laptop at SkinIt. SkinIt allows you to choose a template for your computer or other electronic device and create a custom skin to brand you or your business.

For a business person that is in the public eye a great deal with their laptop, it’s an excellent way to encourage interaction from others.

Daniel Pan Memorial Fund

Montevide_veracruzA memorial fund for Daniel Pan at Montevideo Elementary School.

This is the corner of Montevideo and Vera Cruz in San Ramon, CA where ten-year-old, Daniel Pan was killed. I have driven through this intersection hundreds of times and it puzzles me how this tragic accident occurred.

Daniel_panWhat jumps to mind is the drivers that don’t stop until they are through the crosswalks and half way into the intersection – and only come to a complete stop if there is traffic coming from their left as they make a right turn.

Like most accidents, we never think it will happen to us. What’s so important that we can’t drive with more awareness, caution and consideration – certainly not this little boy’s life, his family’s grief or anyone else’s.

A memorial fund is set up through Montevideo School library. You can drop a book off on this corner or by the school on Broadmoor.
