Curb Appeal - Does Not the House Make
Last Sunday, I was at our open house at 213 Aptos Place in Danville, California. I was visiting in the doorway with Ginny Mees who was holding the home open when a guy jumped out of a minivan to grab a flyer out of the box.
I called out to him that he should come in to see the house, that there is no way to imagine the remodel inside from the front exterior. He resisted a little, but I said – honestly, you won’t believe the inside of this house.
He came in and oohed and ahhed all through his walk through. Then he went back to the minivan to watch the kids while he sent the wife in. She oohed and ahhed a bit, too.
213 Aptos Place is a cute house from the street. The yard and landscaping is well maintained as is the paint and trim. But, this charming exterior just can’t speak for the interior. The contrast is like these two pictures.
The owners of 213 Aptos Pl. have done an incredible job with the Kitchen, Dining, Living and Family areas. It’s impossible to do it justice with words. The upgrades are top notch and the back yard is perfect for children. Aptos place has cul-de-sacs at both ends. It’s only a few blocks from Greenbrook Elementary School.
The home is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath with a stand alone office that is not included in the square footage. You can take a tour here.
