Foreclosed Homes for Sale – Danville CA

The number of bank-owned (REO) and short sale properties is increasing in Danville; this month there is a total of 95 properties on the market. 74 homes are listed as a short sale and 21 homes are REO’s. 4 of them are condos, 2 duets, 20 townhomes and a surprising 69 properties are single family homes.

When we look at the price break down, homes are offered at any price level including homes that are listed over $1,000,000.

The lowest price is a 2 bedroom and 1,5 baths listed at $169,000. When you are interested in buying a single family home and getting your children in a great school district the entry level prices are starting at $500,000 and there about 40 homes for sale in the $600-$700-$800k’s, many of them with 4 or 5 bedrooms and over 3000 square feet. This is a great time to buy if you are thinking of moving up or when you plan to move from for instance Fremont or San Jose.

Between $1,000,000 and $1,600,000 there are 11 homes for sale, several are over 4000 square feet.

The savvy and patient buyer can find some great deals but you have to act quickly. Just to give you an idea, out of these 95 homes there are currently only 27 posted active for sale.
