Brookside & Glenview – Danville, CA

Brookside and Glenview are two neighborhoods in the popular Greenbrook area in Danville and was built between 1960 and 1980; the homes range in size from 1600 – 3000 square feet and are built on good size lots. The neighborhood is known for its mature landscaping, bike paths and Osage Park..The local schools are all part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Close by are I680, schools, shopping and it is walking distance to downtown Danville. There is no Home Owners Association fee for homes in this neighborhood.

In August there were three homes on the market; one of the homes for sale is a townhome located in the Brookside townhome development with only 40 units right off Camino Ramon; the home is 1496 square feet with 3 bedrooms  and 2,5 baths; the price has just been reduced to $459,950, a good price for this entry level home in Danville.

The other home for sale is located at 129 Paraiso Drive and listed at $919,000; it is a one story, 2257 square feet, with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a 2 car garage. This home is 2727 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a 3 car garage, a 14,000 square feet lot with a pool and spa, vegetable garden and sports court. The home is walking distance to schools and Osage Park. The home sold for $979,000 which is slightly under the asking price of $984,000. Homes in this popular neighborhood usually sell quickly this one sold in just four days.
