Your Soul’s Compass
My friend, Gordon Dveirin, called yesterday to pick my brain about Internet marketing (what I do for the Harper-Mees Team). Gordon is coauthor of a new book titled – Your Soul’s Compass.
Joan Borysenko coauthored Your Soul’s Compass with Gordon. Together they explore the issue of spiritual guidance. What is it? How does it function? How do you determine if spiritual guidance is in the service of the soul or the ego?
You may think addressing Your Soul’s Guidance is a topic unrelated to real estate, but it is definitely related to Google and other search engines. What I am attempting to do by writing this post is to demonstrate to Gordon, the “Google Juice” that our website has achieved over the years.
Quite often, when we address a certain topic on our blog, that post will be in the top 5 returns on a Google search. Yesterday we wrote about Misssey, an organization in the East Bay that works to stop human trafficking. Today, our website is number 10 if you Google Misssey.
I am interested to see what happens with the term Your Soul’s Compass because it is hard to compete on Google with the big bookseller sites.
What all of this means to our clients is that using a Realtor with a significant web presence can elp them to gain much more exposure for their home. In addition, we aggressively market for home buyers in all price ranges – many agents focus only on listings and rely on other agents to find them a buyer for their client’s home – not us.
So, whether it is your home or a book, Your Soul’s Compass, a strong presence on the Internet will be of value.
