Local Realtor & Friends Performing Tonight
at Crow Canyon Country Club to Packed House
Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville CA has hired Still Rock’n & Friends to provide the live music for the club’s monthly Carvery Night Dinner e
vent being held tonight. The Carvery Night Dinners have been held at the club over the past year and have been a pretty popular event for members and their guests.
The dinner event for tonight is the first time the club has opened the event up to non-members to introduce them to all the club has to offer. This event will also include a Happy Hour prior to dinner being served which is not part of the typical Carvery Night Dinners. Music will consist of a wide variety of tunes from easy listening during dinner to more upbeat tunes for dancing and toe tapping during Happy Hour and after Dinner.
The musicians performing for this event will include Craig Harper (guitar/Sax/vocals) and Dennis Viers (bass guitar/vocals) who started Still
Rock’n several years ago; Rex Bell (lead guitar) who has performed with such notable artists as Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, Barbra Streisand, Sammy Davis Jr. & many others; Joe Iovino who is new to the group and providing acoustic rhythms and vocals.
And, special guest Orestes Vilato who performed and recorded with Santana for ten years in the 80′s and has performed (and continues to perform) with such noted artists as Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner, Jackson Brown, Willie Nelson, Aretha Franklin and the Andy Garcia Band. Orestes has been nominated for several Grammy Awards and worked on the soundtracks for the Mambo Kings and Robin Williams’ movie The Birdcage.
Although the Carvery Dinners rarely sell out, due to such a high response from members and non-members, this event is at full capacity. If you were unable to get reservations and would like to attend a future event (we hope to have a dinner/dance to announce in the near future), please send us a request and we will let you know as soon as it is scheduled. KEEP ROCK’N
