Keller Williams Realty Continues to Grow
As I sit here in my office at the Rose Garden working on the Friday "stack & list," Kristin White is giving the office tour to a couple of more local agents thinking of moving over to Keller Williams Realty in Danville, California. We moved to the new offices in October of 2008. The Danville Market Center is a good example of some of the positive growth and dynamics happening across North America with Keller Williams Realty.
The new office space is about 30% bigger than the old offices off El Cerro. All of the private offices are gone and cubicle space is filling up fast. We seem to be averaging 4 or more new agents a month – most of these are Realtors changing brokers. There's a lot of this going on as agents adjust their business plans and models to a changing industry and challenging economic times. We've had several agents leave this office – just so you know, it's not a oneway street.
Overall, the changes in the real estate industry seem to be having a positive affect on Keller Williams Realty.
Keller Williams Realty is now the third largest real estate company in the United States by agent count.
According to the 2008 Real Trends 500 Report, Keller Williams was the only real estate franchise that experienced a positive growth in the total number of transaction sides, the total number of offices and the agent count per office. Every other franchise declined.
Over the last five years, Keller Williams has grown by more than 65% in agents per office, 61% more in transactions per agent and 32% more in sales per office.
One other thing that has the agents excited in the KW Danville office is the new health care plan.
