Local realtors give foodbank a helping hand

food bankIt's the season of giving and the Harper-Mees Team has been helping out the Contra Costa Foodbank in any way it can.

The troubling times our economy is experiencing has hit hard on the Foodbank and it needs any support it can gather up from residents around the county. The Alameda Foodbank is also suffering from a shortage of donations and volunteers because of this.

Chevron recently donated $1.4 million to 29 East Bay non-profit organizations like the Contra Costa and Alameda Foodbanks.

Please lend a helping hand or drop off a donation if you can. Visit the Foodbank of Contra Costa & Solano Counties for more information.
