Mustang Soccer – Danville CA

Bailey_meesBailey Mees just got a call from the coaches at Mustang Soccer that he passed the first try out. Bailey and his close friends Erich and Henrik Lang, JT Wechsler and Jack Slimm all received a call back from the Mustang Soccer organization that they will continue in the program. A total of 36 children made the cut.

The coaches told us that this U9 group is the strongest they have seen in a long time. The professional approach of Mustang Soccer and its coaches is in my (Paul Mees) opinion the reason for the strong performance of the boys.

Most of the children were in a special try out camp during the month of February at the brand new Mustang Soccer Complex at 4680 Camino Tassajara in Danville.

Mustang_soccerMustang Soccer was founded in 1972, the league was established for the purpose of providing positive and safe soccer opportunities to children from age five through eighteen.

Mustang Soccer currently serves the cities of Danville, Alamo, the Blackhawk area and a small southern slice of Walnut Creek, consistent with the San Ramon Valley School District boundaries.

Danville_soccerApproximately 5,000 children are registered yearly. The League utilizes 31 soccer fields located at 15 separate school or community park sites.

These sites are owned or operated by the Town of Danville, San Ramon Valley School District, Alamo (R7A), the Athenian School and Blackhawk Homeowners Association.

We are looking forward to an other successful and exciting year of Mustang soccer for Bailey and his friends.
