It appears the Pleasanton Boat Show has been canceled. You can read about the boat show cancellation all over the Internet. The Northern California Marine Association site which still has the Pleasanton Boat Show page showing up on Google searches and there is no mention of the cancellation on the Alameda County Fair site.

If you were planning on attending the boat show, you may want to:

• Petition the governor for more boat shows
• Organize people who are considering selling their boats into an impromptu boat show to take advantage of the PR already done
• Enter a state of suspended animation for 12 months and hope the Pleasanton Boat Show is held in 2009
