Project Lifeline – Foreclosure Rescue Package – You Think?
Here’s the scenario: your 3 months behind on your mortgage payment of $4000 a month ($12K). Project Lifeline the new program being hyped by the administration and major banks is going to give you an additional 30 days to keep from going into foreclosure.
Is 30 days going to help someone who is in this situation, maybe without a job, or any savings, with credit cards maxed out? I don’t think so. Project lifeline seems like little more than a gesture.
Maybe if we make enough gestures (FHA Secure) we’ll distract enoough people to dial the rage and ruin down a notch or two.
