Safeway to Announce Layoffs?
According to rumors we’re hearing, Safeway of Pleasanton, California will be announcing some pretty significant layoffs within the next week.
One of those unnamed sources told me their boss disappeared in the last day or so and they will soon follow. Exact numbers weren’t mentioned, but it appears many of the cuts are in the tech side and possibly the online shopping side of things – Safeway.com.

I work in the Vons Division for Safeway, 400 layoffs company wide starting today. Quite a few in IT and dot com

The layoffs were essential to allow Safeway to stay on top of the market. The jobs that were cut were non-essential.

To who ever this boso is who said:LMAO, you can laugh your ass off all you want, but think about what you are saying you dumbball, i don’t think you would want anybody laughing at you if you lost your job. This people who lost their jobs might have someone who counts on their paycheck, such as kids, wives,or even parents. don’t be such an idiot.

It is really to bad that all those people lost their
jobs at Safeway…..
I just hope and pray for them that they will rise up and above and find an even better job with benefits for themselves and their families…….
