San Ramon City Center Project Causes Confusion at TriValley Herald
I was reading this article (San Ramon plan raises traffic worries) this morning on InsideBayArea.com – A TriValley Herald site.
Eric Kuhl, a staff reporter for the Tri Valley Herald writes about the upcoming release of the Environmental Impact Statement about to the released on the proposed San Ramon City Center project. The biggest concern according to Kuhl is increased traffic congestion.
In particular he notes the projected increase on I-680. I don’t know why this would be the major concern. Everything I’ve read on Bishop Ranch since I arrived in San Ramon, CA says that employment growth at Bishop Ranch is projected to grow by 11,000 jobs over the next 5 years anyway.
The increase in 680 traffic is a given, a fact of life with or without the City Center.
What I find most confusing in the TriValley Herald article was this line: All parties will have until Sept. 26 to comneighborhood parks: Arlington and Sherwood parks in the Windemere
It seems that all parties comments will have to wait until we get the parks situation figured out!!!!
