San Ramon Wins!
The Alliance for Youth named the City of San Ramon as a winner of a national competition to identify the 100 Best Communities for Young People.
"This community deserves to be named one of the nation's best 100 communities for young people because it genuinely cares about our interests." Daniel Lin, Teen Council Member
"The City's priority from in incoporation some 20 years ago was building a community based on collaboration between parks, police and planning. This award is a tribute to all of the public and private entities working together to make San Ramon one of the best communities for youth," said City Manager Herb Moniz.
A complete list of winners can be found here.
Another big plus for San Ramon happens on Saturday, May 5th as San Ramon opens its very own certified farmers market. Located on the scenic 16-acre historic Forest Home Farms, the market will offer a festive and family-friendly gathering place to enjoy the freshest local fruits and vegetables available.
The market will run every Saturday from May to October from 9am to 1pm - 1995 San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
See You There!

Have not been to the Pleasanton Farmers Market. I won’t be at the opening of the San Ramon Farmers market as I will be on the East Coast. Hope to be there the second weekend.
