Inventory of homes for sale in Alamo California has dropped to 62 (-15.6%), three of them are foreclosures. Of the 5 homes sold last month in Alamo, the lowest priced home sold was at $350K (originally priced at $359K) and th ehighes tpriced home sold in Alamo went for $1,320,000 (originally $1,395,000) The average for sold/list price was 96%. Foreclosure filings continue to drop in Alamo.

Another Tech Company Announces a Move to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon California

Is Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, CA is becoming a a magnet for high tech firms? Five9 currently based in Pleasanton, CA has signed a lease in Bishop Ranch for 50,000 square feet of office space for its current staff of 230 employees and its expansion plans.This on the heels of General Electrics announcement last month that it will lease 125,000 square feet for its new software lab that will employ over 450.

“Bishop Ranch and the Tri-Valley are really attracting technology companies,” said Ed Hagopian, executive vice president with Sunset Development, the principal developer of Bishop Ranch.

“We need more space because we are growing so quickly,” said Ken Osborn, Five9′s vice president of marketing.. “This move is all about growth — growth in employees, growth in our revenue, our growth prospects. We are excited about the market opportunities that we are addressing.”

San Ramon officials believe the recent deals involving Five9, General Electric and others will bolster the local economy. “You get people spending money here, and well-paying jobs benefit our community,” said Greg Rogers, San Ramon’s city manager. “These businesses bring jobs into town and that spurs economic growth.”

As many of you know, Dennis Viers and I have been performing with friends in our band – Still Rock’n – for a few years now at garage sales, wineries, Danville merchant nights, and etc. Lately we have been rehearsing with a few other musicians and will be playing for a happy hour and dinner event at Crow Canyon Country Club on Friday, January 27th. We would love for you to join us.

Special Guest Appearance – Orestes Vilato

“Orestes Vilató is the most important Cuban percussionist living today and one of the most influential figures in Latin music. He has contributed to albums and movies heard and seen by millions and is a familiar presence in sessions featuring some of the greatest musical legends of our times, from Aretha Franklin to Carlos Santana, from Celia Cruz to Rubén Blades, Johnny Pacheco and so many others…”
