GE’s new employees will be working in the Bishop Ranch Office Park with easy access to Peet’s Coffee, Whole Foods, the San Ramon Marriott, Interstate 680 – not to mention being smack dab in the middle of the new San Ramon City Center when it’s built.

GE plans to invest “hundreds of millions of dollars” per year over the next three years in building up the new team and facility in the San Francisco Bay area. The new center will coordinate the work of some 5,000 GE software specialists worldwide, says Bill Ruh, the GE VP in charge of the project.

Housing Market Up-tick in San Ramon?

With several hundred new jobs available in San Ramon, could we see a rebound in real estate and home prices?
