Feng Shui Real Estate Office
Can Feng Shui Sell Houses?
If you recall, I wrote Feng Shui California Style back in February of 2007.
In that post, I asked, “What the heck is Feng Shui and should I be scared?” Tongue & cheek of course!
When we moved into the Keller Williams Realty digs in Danville a few weeks ago, Cathy Lee of CLDesign Services advised me to Feng Shui the office.
According to Cathy, we needed a green wall, a sparkly bowl, a crystal or two, art work… the list goes on.
Well, I painted the wall hung a print by my son, and picked up a tall chest and a sparkly bowl to throw change and keys in. I’m no Feng Shui-er, but hey – I put our listing flyers in the top drawer as advised and had two in escrow in the first week.
Of course, there have been lots of stories over the past couple of years of desperate home owners burying a statue of St. Joseph in the back yard to help produce a sale.
It’s enough to make one wonder if I’m drinking too much coffee over at Bittersweet in the mornings. Shouldn’t their oatmeal counteract the caffeine?

Feng Shui and real estate. Two seemingly inexact sciences combining to sell house completely on their own. Looks like I got some redecorating to do.
