Foreclosures & Interest Rates – Danville Homes Sale
Danville CA Homes for Sale Critical Factors
On of the big stabilizing factors for home values is location, location, location. Established neighborhoods like Greenbrook & Shadow Hills that are located in built-out communities like Danville, California have weathered the storm better than most.
Though values are down, the fundamental integrity of established neighborhoods continues to provide better supporting value than new construction neighborhoods like some of those in San Ramon and Dublin.
Critical factors to watch in the first half of 2010 are foreclosures & interest rates. Foreclosures and short sales will continue to aggravate home sellers that aren’t underwater. Rising interest rates will affect the size of the buyer pool and real estate market activity.
The best advice for residents of Greenbrook & Shadow Hills that are going to put their house on the market in 2010 is SOONER is BETTER than LATER. I doubt that it is possible to find one homeowner who benefited in the last 3 years from delaying to put their home on the market ASAP. This is not going to change in 2010.
We know what the market dynamics are today. Tomorrow is anyone’s guess, but no one, I know, is expecting a significant rebound in home values.
