San Ramon CA Job Market Gets Another Boost
Another Tech Company Announces a Move to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon California
Is Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, CA is becoming a a magnet for high tech firms? Five9 currently based in Pleasanton, CA has signed a lease in Bishop Ranch for 50,000 square feet of office space for its current staff of 230 employees and its expansion plans.This on the heels of General Electrics announcement last month that it will lease 125,000 square feet for its new software lab that will employ over 450.
“Bishop Ranch and the Tri-Valley are really attracting technology companies,” said Ed Hagopian, executive vice president with Sunset Development, the principal developer of Bishop Ranch.
“We need more space because we are growing so quickly,” said Ken Osborn, Five9′s vice president of marketing.. “This move is all about growth — growth in employees, growth in our revenue, our growth prospects. We are excited about the market opportunities that we are addressing.”
San Ramon officials believe the recent deals involving Five9, General Electric and others will bolster the local economy. “You get people spending money here, and well-paying jobs benefit our community,” said Greg Rogers, San Ramon’s city manager. “These businesses bring jobs into town and that spurs economic growth.”
