I received a call today from Pedro Morlet in regards to Vineyard Place in Napa County, CA.

According to their website, Vineyard Place, located in American Canyon, is a charming new home community of move-in ready and fully upgraded homes priced from the low $500,000s. And unlike other communities in the area, there are NO Home Owner Association Fees! With a four bedroom and three bath layout, this community features the options and amenities you're looking for and, and a premier location that puts convenience just outside your door.

Pedro and I are talking about how we might increase exposure for Vineyard Place on the Internet and in Napa, CA. Developers and new home builders often find it difficult to obtain good search engine results for key real estate search terms.

This is because Realtors, Brokers and Real Estate Agents are responsible for some of the most prolific sites on the Internet vying for local search results. Getting a new site like Vineyard Place to rank high on Google for terms like:

• Napa REal Estate
• Napa California Real Estate
• Napa CA New Homes
• Napa California New Homes
• Homes for Sale in Napa California

Will be almost impossible for a new home builder or developer because it takes time to build power under a site or “Google Juice” as it is often referred to.

When I moved out here and joined Craig and Tracey in their real estate business, I was given one prime directive – Get our site to the top of Google. We’re getting there. I just Googled – san ramon real estate – and see that our site comes up in the #2 spot.

It’s taken two years of consistent effort to accomplish that and build our traffic to the point it is today – 6000+ unique visitors a month.

I don’t see anyone in Napa, CA or American Canyon employing our Internet marketing strategy for real estate. There could be a real opportunity for a motivated savvy Realtor or real estate agent that wants to dominate Google for real estate searches in Napa, but it will take time to build it.

This is a race where the tortoise wins not the hare.
