HarperMees’ New Home

Keller Williams Realty is moving their Danville Market Center to the Rose Garden at the corner of Sycamore Valley Road and Camino Ramon.

Hm_officeYesterday, 3 of us met with Kristin White, KW Team Leader, and other Realtors in our market center to choose our office spaces.

We decided to take the largest office available as we will be working with 4 to 6 team members in the space a great deal of the time. Our office will not be full of desks. We will have countertops to handle 3 to 4 computers and a large conference table that will hold 6.

The conference table will be wired for laptops and we will have a large plasma screen on the wall for presentations to clients.

Kw_patioOur office has windows on two sides and easy access to the espresso machine and the outdoor patio which is huge. KW will have a gas grill on the patio for those TGIF parties that will become a regular event.

Work on the Rose Garden office space is proceeding quickly. We expect to have an open house in late October or early November. Craig’s band – Still Rockin’ – will provide live music for the event.

Tube Snake Boogie

There is some question and controversy around the song title – Tube Snake Boogie vs. Tube Steak Boogie. Given the fact that Still Rockin’ plays at local neighborhood events – they stick with the more g-rated version.

Still Rockin’

  • Dennis Viers
  • John Marcinko
  • Paul Cvengros sitting in for Anthony

Still Rockin’ will be playing at Keller Williams Realty when they have their grand opening at their new offices in the Rose Garden. I believe the move date is now Sept. 1.

Still Rockin’ Energizes Neighborhood Garage Sale

still-rockin.jpgYesterday was the huge neighborhood garage sale in San Ramon. Over 40 homes participated in the event which was sponsored and organized by the the Harper-Mees Team.

All-in-all, it turned out to be a pretty big success for most of the participants despite the flood of last minute homes signing up and a few things dropping through the cracks as a result. Many of the participating homeowners stopped by "garage sale headquarters" to enjoy the live music provided by Still Rockin' a group of "oldies but goldies".

gaage-sale.jpgEverything Jane and I brought down from Walnut Creek disappeared. I call that a huge success for us - nothing to load back in the Jeep and haul home! Not bad since we brought down a chunk of I-Beam and a commercial grade plumber's snake to get rid of.

The weather was great and most homeowners reported a lot of activity and appreciation for the neighborhood event. These two youngsters loaded up on items to amuse themselves with.

Tracey and Kris Viers went around to as many homes as they could to distribute muffins to homeowners that had to get up early to prepare their driveways for the event.

garage-sale2.jpgThough the event had a few glitches, it was great fun and we plan on organizing another in September after school starts so parents can recycle those clothes that won't fit their growing children anymore.

Personally, I was a little disappointed in the amount of food we collected for the Contra Costa Food Bank, so that is one area where we will focus our attention for improvement.

Leave us a comment on your experience. Let us know what you think worked and what didn't so we can improve on September's San Ramon Neighborhood Garage Sale.
